The CONstruct Media Management Timeline, which can, for example, handle the ASC CDL standard easily, plays RAW from RED, ARRI, Sony and Canon (including DSLRs), VFX formats such as MXF, DPX, OpenEXR and ProRes, as well as consumer formats such as QuickTime, WMV,and MP4.
CONstruct
The underlying "CONstruct"—which is explained in greater detail in the free PDF in the attachment—is a visual media representation that, starting from a timeline, brings all different formats, resolutions, codecs and color spaces together into one, and does so in a user-defined output. And yes, it goes up to the new UHD/4K standard.
Color
Scratch Play also has color-correction tools on board that can integrate looks on set, as well as generate CDLs, LUTs and JPEG shots. This allows users to go directly from Play into Assimilate Scratch.
