RE: Vision Effects has so far released version 6, which provides faster calculation via GPU, only for AE, Premiere Pro and Apple Final Cut Pro. The slow-motion tool is also available for Avid Media Composer, eyeon Fusion, Apple Shake, Autodesk Softimage and Sony Vegas Pro, among others. Twixtor is intended to be able to generate synthetic slow-motion sequences by interpolating existing images. Maximum acceleration requires a high-end graphics card.
Twixtor 6.0.2 is available for Mac OS X and Windows and is compatible with AE and Premiere Pro from version CS5. The full version of Twixtor costs around 330 dollars, and the Twixtor Pro version around 600 dollars. The tool is compatible with Final Cut Pro from version 7 and with Final Cut Pro X from release 10.7.
