This allows metadata information in the context of the clip or sequence to be displayed as overlays on the Source Monitor and Program Monitor. If an external monitor is connected, according to Adobe the metadata can also be transferred to it as overlays. The sequence and project clip names as well as the file name, source timecode information, marker comments, edit-point and media-limit indicators, and multicamera sources can be displayed.
The metadata can be switched off and on via the pop-up menu; the Overlay Settings dialog and metadata fields can also be used to determine which overlay information is displayed.In addition, the new feature can be used to create overlay presets and import and export them.
