Adobe Premiere Pro already received four updates in 2013, the last one in December. In response to user requests, Premiere Adobe expanded Open CL performance and improved media management with multiple browser tabs. Additional editing improvements are intended to provide greater workflow efficiency and more intuitiveness for voice-over recordings.

According to Adobe, thanks to the December update, the file’s output names and path templates can be customized in After Effects CC. There is also said to be improved snapping behavior, expanded scripting options and the ability to carry user settings over into a new update.

After the update, SpeedGrade CC offers expanded camera format support in Direct Link mode, and support for Adobe Anywhere protocols has been added to Prelude CC. Adobe Media Encoder now supports the Sony XAVC format, and performance improvements and diagnostic tools for monitoring system status have been added to Adobe Anywhere.

Anyone who is not yet part of the Adobe CC community can test a membership here for 30 days.
