In Autodesk version 2.3, 3D printers can be added or edited so that 3D models can be output on any 3D printer. New Slice Tools have also been added, allowing objects to be cut into slices.

Other features include new drag-and-drop functions for adding objects to parts of the model. In addition, naming is intended to work better, and support for the PLY format and the 3Dconnexion Space Mouse has been added.

For example, you can then build and print a rabbit with bat wings; click here to download it. Meshmixer 2.3 is available for Windows 32-bit and 64-bit and Mac OS X.
