The conference takes place from October 14 to 17 and covers a broad spectrum relating to games, animation, and film. This includes somewhat broader topics such as "Food and the environment in Movies and Games" or "Religion in Animation". You can find a complete overview of the topics here.
Like most festivals, the View Conference is no exception and is calling for entries to the View Award 2014, which is aimed at professionals and students alike. 2D/3D animation work and VFX from the past two years will be accepted. Awards will be presented in the categories "Best Short", "Best Design", "Best Character", and "Best digital visual Effects". Click here for the category descriptions and conditions of entry.
