The Lumix DMC-FZ1000 has a 1-inch MOS sensor with 20.1 megapixels and a quad-core image processor, as well as a Leica lens with 16x optical zoom. The camera is intended to capture 4K material at 25 frames per second, directly onto the SD memory card.
According to Panasonic, uncompressed material can be output via micro HDMI to an external storage medium. Those who prefer to film slow-motion footage can do so with the bridge camera at 100 frames per second.
Including the battery and SD card, the camera weighs 832 grams; the body is a handy 136.8 mm wide, 98.5 mm high, and 130.7 mm deep.
