The first “Social Biopic” from O2 and Rat Pack is online. Background: people can apply to this O2 campaign with stories. The best one is produced by Rat Pack Filmproduktion together with the submitters, and the first is now online. From July 17, it can also be seen in cinemas and on TV.

For the short film, under the direction of Christian Ditter (“Wickie”/“Vorstadtkrokodile”), Arri had a hotel collapse in the background – an important step for the plot, because the demolition of the building gives the story its decisive turn toward disaster.

The scene was created in Houdini; Björn Lubitz built and textured the hotel, Volker Heisterberg handled the collapse, and Markus Hund contributed the appropriate smoke. The project managers were Michael Koch (3D) and David Laubsch (2D) from Arri VFX.
