The feature for recording 4K resolution was actually intended to remain reserved for the higher-priced Sony F55 model, so the hack is of course not approved by Sony. Anyone who would nevertheless like to record 4K with their F5 can take a look at the tutorial by Nathan Thompson and Brian Hallet.
