Although the screen cannot fully cover the BT.2020 colour space, the OLED monitor is said to impress not only with good colour reproduction but also with significantly better black reproduction compared with LED screens. The OLED panel has 4,096 x 2,160 pixels. 4K, 2K and HD resolutions can be displayed at different refresh rates. A short pixel response time and a wide viewing angle are also said to speak for its quality.
According to Sony, the BVM-X300 monitor offers a high-dynamic-range mode as well as a wide colour gamut that also covers DCI-P3. S-Gamut3.cine and S-Gamut3 are also supported.
