The new flagship is intended to complement the EcoView FlexScan series. Eizo primarily wants to address users in the CAD/CAM and architecture sectors with it. The large monitor is of course also well suited to trade-fair stands and image editing. However, Eizo does not exclude demanding office users or home use.
In addition to the picture-in-picture function, the picture-by-picture function has now been added. This makes it possible to display up to four image signals from different computers simultaneously. The model can display more than eight million pixels; the 4K Ultra HD resolution is 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. The monitor achieves a maximum brightness of 300 cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 1,000:1. An IPS panel with flicker-free LED backlighting is easy on the eyes, while the size provides a better overview when working. Further information about the features can be found here.
The monitor is available in grey and black for 2,899 Swiss francs (around 2,400 euros). Eizo provides a five-year warranty.
