And animago nominees also made the selection. Viola Baier’s "Wedding Cake", for example, which was nominated in the "Best Character Animation" category in 2013.
The works "Rollin’ Wild", "Rugby Bugs", and "Phosphoros" from the Filmakademie even made it onto the covers of our DP issues 02/13, 07/13, and 06/14. It can therefore be said with complete justification that Shelley Page – who has already worked on DreamWorks films such as "Kung Fu Panda" or "How to Train Your Dragon" – has the right instinct when it comes to student animated films.
Also included are films from the American Ringling College, the Gobelins school in France (see also DP issue 03/14), and the Supinfocom school.

If you are also interested in studying at the Filmakademie: The application deadline for undergraduate study in the “Animation” and “Interactive Media” specialisations is February 15; the application deadline for lateral entry into project studies for all concentrations within these specialisations is May 15.
The “Animation” specialisation offers the concentrations Concept Artist, Animation/Effects Director, Character Animator, Effects Artist, Animation/Effects Producer (AEP), and Technical Director. The Interactive Media specialisation offers the concentrations Transmedia/Games Director, Transmedia/Games Artist, and Transmedia/Games Producer.
