Steven Ilous, who directed the film, is a VFX artist, director and producer from Seattle, Washington.

"Polis" had more than 60 VFX shots, and the team worked on it for a total of two months. VFX supervisor Maxx Burman led an international freelance team of more than 40 VFX artists.
