The Irish filmmaker is no unknown quantity. With the robot film "Blinky" he already delivered an outstanding short film, and for "Fifty Percent Grey" (entirely without soft-porn romance like the similarly named current feature film), he received an Oscar nomination.
Presumably to convince financiers, he has now made an elaborate teaser for "The Leviathan", intended to whet the appetite for a feature film. And it definitely does.

He developed the teaser matrial with the help of "Fight Club" screenwriter Jim Uhls and produced it with funding from the Irish Film Board/Bord Scannán na hÉireann. If "The Leviathan" is made, it would be his second feature-film project after "The Last Days on Mars".
