Software developer Digital Anarchy has released an update to its Beauty Box. Beauty Box Video 4.0 can remove blemishes and wrinkles from film footage, 4K and HD.

The new version uses face detection, masking and blur algorithms to give skin in HD video digital makeup. On newer GPUs, such as the Nvidia GTX 980, the software supposedly renders in real time.

Beauty Box Video 4.0 runs in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and Apple’s Final Cut Pro X. Price: 199 US dollars. Anyone already using the previous version can upgrade for 59 dollars.
