The “First Cycle” was realised by the Blender Institute studio in Amsterdam. The other parts of the film are being created by other teams – each in its own unique style. This makes the whole enterprise a huge film experiment by the open-source community.
Everything in the film, as well as the artwork files, was made with free and open-source software and is available under a Permissive License – so the material can be remixed or used as learning material.
Anyone who would like to participate and learn more about the Blender community can sign up to the Blender Cloud.
