Only Polish is spoken in the film, but no problem: activate subtitles on YouTube—and it works.
The film is based on the famous dragon Smok Wawelski from an old Polish story. Platige joined forces with Allegro and Fish Ladder to adapt several traditional fairy tales from Poland. Alongside “The Wawel Dragon,” “Mr. Twardowski” was also realized as a short film; so far, however, only the trailer is online:
Both films were directed by Tomek Baginski of Platige, who was also the director of animago winner “Ambition”. The two short films were shot in Krakow and Warsaw. Several e-books about the folk legends will be published together with the short films.
For anyone who knows Polish—here is all further information about the Allegro project.
