The Cinema 4D 3D tool has now existed for more than 20 years. To keep the software up to date and lead it into a secure future, the same core team that developed the core architecture for C4D R6, now supported by new developers, has been working on a new architecture for quite some time. These optimisations have already been integrated over several releases: among other things, a threading system for fast parallel data processing and an improved data structure were added. The latest algorithms, compilers and technology are intended to secure the Maxon tool’s future in the long term.
The technology’s modular structure combines the current architecture with a new one, which was already incorporated into release 16.
