New Cineversity Tutorial Series for AE Users

In this tutorial series, After Effects artists learn the basics of Cinema 4D Lite so they can then add 3D elements to their compositions.

The 31 tutorials cover everything needed to get started working with Maxon’s Cinema 4D. Trainer Athanasios Pozantzis explains clearly how to create a C4D scene in AE and use 3D objects. He also shows how to create materials and animate the 3D objects.

Anyone specifically interested in creating motion graphics should pay particular attention to the predefined workflow in the tutorial, because motion graphics can be created easily in Cinema 4D in just a few steps using text splines. Incidentally, this year we have added the new “Best Motion Design” category at animago. So once the work is finished, simply submit it by June 30.

The especially practical point is that all After Effects users automatically have Cinema 4D Lite because it is installed automatically with every version of AE CC.

Anyone who wants to follow the tutorial series simply has to register with Cineversity and can get started. A standard account is free; a premium account with full access to the forum as well as premium plugins and presets costs 295 US dollars for the first subscription year.
