Ordered Chaos

The new Photoshop tool Lattice makes it possible to create particle-based structures connected by lines and points, in iridescent colours.

With Lattice, particles initially exist as 3D cubes, spheres or cylinders. If individual particles are far enough apart, they are connected by a line. This creates infinitely variable structures.

It is possible to add effects such as noise, scales, turbulence or twists and edit only individual parts of the construct. The colours can also be adjusted individually for each particle. Lattice works directly with .obj files.
