If the project is exported as an FCP7 XML file, it can now be opened in Edius Pro 7.5 and 8. By contrast, timeline export to Avid Media Composer has been removed. Because problems often occurred, this option has been disabled since version 4.
Also new in PluralEyes 4.1 is a special workflow for editing music videos, effectively a special multicam case in which many different takes are to be synced to a master audio track. Drift correction can also be switched off if desired in order to achieve faster sync times. In addition, multiple clips can be selected and removed with one click. Split recordings from one camera (spanned clips) are now also recognised for GoPro and combined into one.
