More than 80,000 visitors watched over 1,000 films in more than 200 individual events at the last Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film. Through the globally unique combination of the Festival of Animated Film, Animation Production Day and the specialist congress FMX, the event has developed into an important platform for financing and developing animation projects. The festival also offers an intensive exchange between professionals in the animated-film industry and promotes young talent. Prize money of more than
70,000 euros is awarded in the competitions.
