experimenta Heilbronn is a renowned educational institution (Science Center) known beyond the borders of southern Germany. With more than 170,000 visitors annually, experimenta communicates science and technology interactively and participatively to people of every age group. In the course of further growth through a spectacular extension building, we are looking to strengthen our team with:
Motion Designer (2D) Generalist (m/f)
Tasks
- Design of 2D motion graphics
- Compositing of 360° footage (in fulldome format)
- Effects work and grading
- Editing of fulldome shows
- Creation of live footage 360°
Requirements
- Passion for good design and a confident feel for motion, light, colours, shapes and details
- Completed training or degree in the field of (motion) design
- Confident handling of the Adobe Suite (especially After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator and video tools)
- Knowledge of audio and video codecs and encoding
- Knowledge in the field of video editing, colour grading
- Experience with 3D animation (Cinema 4D), Fusion, Nuke and FinalCut is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of VR and fulldome
- Set and camera experience is an advantage
- Accuracy, ability to work in a team, endurance and strong communication skills
- High level of initiative, independent, structured, responsible and proactive work, good organisational skills
- Portfolio with work samples / motion reel
Motion Designer (3D) Generalist (m/f)
Tasks
- Design of 3D visualisations and motion graphics
- Modelling, texturing, shading and 3D animation with Cinema 4D
Requirements
- Passion for good design and a confident feel for motion, light, colours, shapes and details
- Completed training or degree in the field of design
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience in modelling, texturing / shading and 3D animation with Cinema 4D
- Feel for realistic animations and for spatial composition and movement
- Experience with one or more supplementary 3D tools is an advantage (e.g. Vray, Houdini, Z-Brush, Realflow, Krakatoa)
- Basic knowledge of VR and fulldome
- Experience with the usual 2D motion design tools
- Accuracy, ability to work in a team, endurance and strong communication skills
- High level of initiative, independent, structured, responsible and proactive work, good organisational skills
- Portfolio with work samples / motion reel
