The Node Graph has several new options to offer in version 3.2: a left-to-right layout option can now be selected, navigation is more intuitive, shortcuts are customizable, and it is possible to work with a zoom-dependent level of detail.
The non-destructive Bake Point Nodes can be used to improve overall performance because they convert all upstream nodes, including the procedurals, into textures.
With the “Connected Mesh Selection” function, an independent polygon island within a single mesh can be selected by thereby extending every face selection to all connected faces.
Thanks to the new OpenEXR 2.2 support, users can significantly reduce the file size of UDIM texture maps—without a noticeable deterioration in quality.
