On his website, the artist provides the “Nebula” node for download, including several effect variants that have already been created, and a tutorial on integrating the node into Blender’s Cycles Compositor.

The prerequisite for the tutorial is that artists are alreaddy familiar with how to install a Group Node in Blender.

Function of the “Nebula” node

The node layers various noise effects on top of each other, allowing the clouds and stars to be combined. Various options are available in the node for adjusting the final look, allowing the final look to be adjusted. These include vectors for positioning the individual layers, as well as cloud and Sun & Star settings.

So: off into the infinite expanses created by your own hand (and Blender node power)!
