R17 has been on the market for a while, but Takes in Cinema 4D are still a closed book to many. That is a shame, because Takes allow you to work more flexibly, create different variants of your scene and and remain efficient and organised in the process.
Helge Maus from Pixeltrain addressed this topic some time ago and created a whole series of tutorials that examine the subject of Takes in detail. They are definitely worth watching.
