In summary, there are improvements to the Paint Tool. It now works with 16-bit colour depth and is compatible with Autodesk Colour Management. The Paint Node has additional features, and some even work at 32-bit speed. Autodesk has also developed a more efficient workflow for Flame 2018. This means: faster import, export of AAF files and support for the FCP 10.3 XML (XML 1.6) and Adobe Premiere CC 2017 XML formats. Sequences and shots can also be named and linked together more easily.
