OLM Digital from Japan has released new After Effects blur plug-ins. The blur effects are part of the OLM Open Tools. These include useful plug-ins for Maya, Nuke, After Effects and more. You can find an overview of the OLM Open Tools and their compatibility here.
OLM Blur
This plug-in blurs the boundaries between colours without requiring additional masks.
OLM Radial Blur & Directional Blur
Unlike normal blur effects, these blur plug-ins are anisotropic and retain the colour intensity and details of the original images. “Noise” can also be added to obtain moving cartoon lines.
