At the Institute of Film and Television – Film Academy Vienna – of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, the permanent position of a university professor of Digital Art Compositing pursuant to Section 98 UG 2002 is expected to be filled from October 1, 2019.
Desired Qualifications
- Evidence of practical experience in the fields of: digital post-production, 2D and 3D compositing, 3D animation, CGI, visual effects, colour correction, colour grading and technical know-how in all these areas (technical-scientific collaboration on productions)
- Willingness to cooperate and engage in transdisciplinarity
- Leadership qualities in the organisational field
- Pedagogical and didactic aptitude appropriate to the position to be filled, which may be assessed by means of a teaching demonstration, among other things
Extent of employment: full-time
Contract: permanent employment relationship pursuant to the collective agreement
Minimum remuneration: Pursuant to the collective agreement, the monthly gross remuneration is at least €4,891.10 (14 times). Any higher salary, depending on qualifications and previous experience, is the subject of appointment negotiations.
