Stephen Schmitt has released the new update for the well-known World Machine, bringing with it several new possibilities. Among other things, JPEG and HDR format support are included.
Although there is still no PBR workflow support or HDR colour values in this version, they are definitely planned for future updates. At least that is what it says…
Overall, the main focus of this update was probably on the general improvement of the workflow, which includes, among other things, a “Maya-like” control system for switching between the different 3D, layout and device views in the software.
There is also now the practical copy/paste function for transferring settings from one World Machine to another.
