“Cineware for Illustrator” is a free plug-in for Adobe Illustrator CC. It offers 2D designers the opportunity to enter the 3D world really easily / expand their workflow by the third dimension.
You do not need to own Cinema 4D for this, and in-depth 3D knowledge is not required either. You simply install the plug-in in Illustrator and can then import 3D objects, texture them, rotate them, set lights and combine them with 2D elements.
