The 3D character-creation tool “Fuse” (Beta) was purchased by Adobe in 2015. The company has now announced that it will no longer support the software. From Mac OS 10.15 onward, Adobe Fuse will no longer be able to function.
Farewell from Creative Cloud
However, Adobe Fuse will continue to run and remain available for another year under older versions of Mac OS and Windows. The final deadline is dated September 13, 2020. After that, Fuse will no longer be available for download.
According to the announcement, Adobe still plans to offer tools for character workflows. Mixamo.com (web service for 3D character rigging and animation) is soon expected to launch with many new 3D characters and a new UI.
