Archive notice: This article documents the FMX online highlights series that began in May 2020. The sessions, registration and livestream have ended.
FMX scheduled “Highlights of FMX 1994–2020” for the week in which its conference had originally been due to begin. Sessions ran from 5 to 8 May 2020 and then continued every two weeks with a featured industry guest.
Opening interview
The series began on 5 May at 18:00 CEST with Jan Pinkava. The Oscar-winning filmmaker and founder of Google Spotlight Stories discussed his perspective on animation in an exclusive interview.
Interactive participation
Viewers could visit the FMX website shortly before each show, submit a name and email address, and enter a capacity-limited interview room. Participants could send questions and chat with other attendees.
Public stream
Anyone who did not enter the interview room could watch the public livestream. The original programme page is now archival.
Production note
