Stop-motion projects in development
Animarkt’s 2020 pitching call sought short films still in development. Applicants needed a screenplay for a film no longer than 30 minutes, with at least 80 percent of the animation planned in stop motion.
Awards and regional focus
Prizes included animation-production equipment, consultation with Isle of Dogs contributor Marcin Zalewski, industry accreditation for Mifa 2021 and a two-week artist residency in Argentina. Projects from Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Estonia, Germany, Ukraine, Lithuania and Latvia received preference.
Expired dates
The submission deadline was 3 August 2020. The forum ran from 6 to 10 October, with winners presented on 6 October. This is an archive record, not a current call for applications.
