Simon Says for macOS
Simon Says is an AI-based transcription, subtitling and translation service. It can transcribe and translate material and supports frame-accurate editing of clips and captions. The developers integrated the tool with Blackmagic Design’s DaVinci Resolve, initially for macOS only.
Windows support was not yet available
At launch, Windows users had to wait for a possible later version. On macOS, the integration enabled users to search, colour-code and edit material while aligning a Resolve timeline with multilingual subtitle tracks.
Availability
The Simon Says application was available through the Mac App Store. Setup details were available in the company’s DaVinci Resolve workflow guide.
