Animcraft
Animcraft brings the idea of reuse to VFX production. The tool lets artists create an animation library filled with reusable motion sequences.
Developer Basefount described Animcraft as a two-dimensional tool — meaning that it serves two purposes: exchanging 3D animations and increasing productivity. Users feed it keyframe or motion-capture animation, which the software retargets to new characters and exports in the native formats of DCC applications or game engines. Animcraft therefore enables animation data to move between 3ds Max, Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, Unity and Unreal Engine.
