Animated Games Submissions

The 28th Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) accepted animated-game projects for its Animated Games Award until 15 February 2021. The winning project was due to receive €5,000.

Eligibility

The jury’s main criteria were visual design, animation and aesthetics, with particular attention to artwork, visual language and character design. Completed games released after 1 January 2019 were eligible.

Animated Games Award

The award grew out of the festival’s GameZone and had been presented since 2016. In 2020, Philipp Stollenmayer won with Song of Bloom, a mobile game combining a strong narrative with changing art styles.
