Sculptron 1.0

Otoy released Sculptron 1.0, the first commercial version of its GPU-based sculpting software. The release added an Outliner, Scene Graph, object transforms, modifiers and HDRI lighting in the viewport.

Sculptron could edit 3D meshes through modifiers, allowing artists to adjust geometry without immediately baking every change into the model.

Availability

At launch, an annual subscription was priced at approximately €10 per month. Those terms are historical. The original feature overview remains in Otoy’s announcement. Check current hardware requirements, file support and licensing, and test dense-mesh performance before production use.
