ZBrushCoreMini 2021.6.5

Pixologic released ZBrushCoreMini 2021, updating the free entry-level edition of its ZBrush sculpting software.

Features

The 2021 release added support for the Vector Displacement Mesh system. VDM allowed artists to add complete body parts, facial features and other complex geometry to a model with a single action.

Pixologic also supplied four Chisel brushes based on the same system: Chisel3D, ChiselShapes, ChiselOrganic and ChiselCreature.

A new real-time ambient-occlusion system improved the presentation of surface detail, while a turntable-animation option made it possible to generate rotating previews of a model.

Availability

Pixologic offered ZBrushCoreMini as a free download and provided a comparison of the features in ZBrushCoreMini and ZBrushCore.
