3D Scan Store founder James Busby released rendered versions of the company’s photorealistic hand scans. The presentation renders were created in Marmoset Toolbag 4 using a straightforward albedo, normal and specular-map setup.

High-resolution scan assets

The hand models were available in OBJ, ZTL and FBX formats with 16K colour texture maps. Versions for further work in Blender, 3ds Max, Maya and other DCC applications also included normal, displacement and specular maps.

The assets were distributed through the 3D Scan Store.
