In brief: Canadian video-accessory manufacturer Shape introduced the V99MB Full Play 99 Wh Mini Battery, described as almost 30 percent lighter than the company’s previous Full Play batteries.
Specifications: The compact 99 Wh V-Mount battery used high-quality cells and protective power-distribution electronics. Shape specified continuous 10 A output through its V-Mount, D-Tap and USB connections.
The company also offered a Multi D-Tap V-Mount plate with a 15 mm LWS rod mount as a companion accessory.
Archived pricing: The battery was listed at approximately €260 including tax. The MDTVM battery plate carried a recommended retail price of around €190 including tax.
