Entry-level 3D inside After Effects
Cinema 4D Lite R25 shipped with the contemporary Adobe After Effects update for Creative Cloud members. It let motion-graphics artists create 3D content and move Cinema 4D cameras, objects and object mattes into After Effects for further compositing.
The Lite edition covered basic modelling, texturing, lighting and animation. It could launch from the After Effects interface or as a standalone application, with an upgrade path to the commercial Cinema 4D edition.
Service pack and training
Maxon recommended that users without the full Cinema 4D install the latest service pack for best performance. Four introductory webinars were scheduled for January 2022. Verify current installers, licensing and host compatibility before production use.
