Cabanova was a browser-based service for building multimedia websites with animated intros, sound, text and images. It required only an internet-connected PC; a self-explanatory modular editor removed the need for programming skills. Small sites of up to five pages were free.
The full version supported up to 701 pages across several navigation levels. Its expanding library supplied design templates, sounds, images and Flash intros, with extensive customisation. The service targeted both business websites and more elaborate personal homepages.
Cabanova was offered in three editions: a free version with five pages plus an intro, a free 30-day trial supporting up to 701 pages, and a full 701-page subscription priced at €19.90 per month plus a one-off €49.90 setup fee.
