Ricoh bundled its MP5240A-DP high-speed DVD+R/+RW writer with Roxio WinOnCD 6 Standard Edition. Drag-to-Disc software allowed files to be copied to CD-R/RW or DVD+R/RW media in a disk-like workflow.
The software supported DVD+MRW and CD-MRW and could create photo shows for playback on a television through a DVD player. It also included a web browser. Ricoh’s drive supported 4× writing on the then-new generation of DVD+R and DVD+RW media.
