ARRI Film & TV produced the 30-second trailer for the 2003 Munich Film Festival.
Animated sound as sculpture
The trailer centred on a large abstract audiovisual sculpture that continuously changed shape. Its soundtrack was represented as a plastic, animated form, combining digital sound design with computer animation.
The completed digital imagery was recorded to film using the Oscar-winning Arrilaser film recorder.
