Canopus offered reduced summer pricing on two software bundles for video editing, effects and finishing.
Visual Effects Suite
The Visual Effects Suite combined Xplode Professional 4.0, Photo Album 2.0 and Imaginate. Xplode supplied configurable effects and transitions, Photo Album assembled image sequences or video albums, and Imaginate animated still images for video projects.
The suite cost €449, or €349 when purchased with a Canopus NLE system such as DV Raptor RT2 or DV Storm2.
Production Suite
The Production Suite added Edius editing and ProCoder multiformat transcoding to the three effects applications. Canopus priced the complete package at €1,099 and claimed a saving of almost €900 compared with separate purchases.
Edius served as the editing platform for DV Storm and DV Rex RT systems. Pricing, bundle contents and compatibility reflect the 2003 promotion and should be verified before production use.
