NewTek has released Video Toaster 3 for live production and post-production, using the host PC’s hardware resources.
The package integrates a live switcher with titling and painting, editing software with real-time 3D compositing, and the full version of NewTek LightWave for 3D modelling and animation.
Distributor Jocomp prices Video Toaster Post at 3,474 euros. It includes the VT board, breakout cable and the Edit, Live Switcher, Aura, LightWave and CG applications.
Video Toaster Live costs 6,954 euros and includes the VT board, SX-8, RS-8 and genlock option, plus Edit, Live Switcher, Aura, LightWave and CG. Educational institutions receive special pricing.
