Greenworks Releases XFrog 4.1

XFrog 4.1 expands branch-shaping controls, improves modelling and accelerates viewport redraws.

Greenworks Organic Software has released XFrog 4.1 for generating organic forms such as plants and trees in Maxon Cinema 4D. The update expands trunk and branch shaping, improves modelling functions and accelerates viewport redraws.

A new Deviation object bends branches into specified shapes. A branch-growth parameter in the Phyllotaxis and Hydra objects gives artists more control over subordinate branching levels.

Viewport drawing is up to ten times faster. More parameters, including branch thickness, can now be controlled with curves.

XFR files can optionally be imported directly as polygon models for faster editing. The XFrogPlants Basic Library now contains native XFrog files as well as Cinema 4D files, allowing XFR assets to arrive in Cinema 4D as editable XFrog 4 hierarchies.

XFrog 4.1 is available immediately for 299 euros. A bundle containing Cinema 4D and XFrog costs 849 euros.
