The most important developments and the current state of technology in the HD field will be presented at the “HDTV Update 2004” workshop on Tuesday, 28.09.2004 from 10:00 to 18:00. In addition to technology presentations and experience reports in the recording and post-production fields, practical examples of HD in image and advertising films as well as TV and cinema productions will be explained. Special attention will also be paid to the question of the economic viability of HD. The topic will be rounded off by a panel discussion at the end of the event. The number of participants for the workshop is limited. Interested parties must register separately for this event. Anyone who purchases a valid eDIT VES 2004 ticket (day ticket or full event pass) can participate.
