C4D projects can now also be transferred to Apple Motion. Allplan 2005 users can use Cinema 4D’s organic modeling functions: Via Allplan XML export, geometry can be transferred back into the CAD environment with positional and dimensional accuracy. Numerous other import filters were also improved, including FBX, Lightwave, 3DS and VRML. In the modeling area, Maxon implemented full support for N-gons. For example, there is a HyperNURBS algorithm optimized for N-gons, and caps can now be generated as N-gons if desired. The HeadUpDisplay was also reworked and can be configured even more individually. New camera rotation modes enable better navigation in the scene. Three new noise types (fire, gas, electricity) have been added to the material system, and their selection is made easier via a preview window.
